Lynnette Cole--Mistress of Ceremonies
Crediting humble beginnings and being raised along side 127 young people who graced the Cole household, Lynnette's passion for bringing awareness to adoption & foster care is powerful. For two years, Lynnette held a staff position in Washington , DC creating the Congressional Coalition on Adoption Institute. The adoption coalition institute works to reform adoption laws and is chaired by a bi-partisan committee of senators and various state representatives.
Currently, Lynnette serves as the Vice President of Global Relations & Sales and is the official International On-Air Spokesperson with Pur Minerals as well. As a host, Lynnette has hosted several shows such as “The Weekend Vibe” for NBC and CMT “Ultimate Country Home”, ESPN entitled “ The Life ”, MTV, VH-1, and “ Whips ” for the Source All Access on NBC as well as made appearances on “As the World Turns”. Along with her hosting and career she has appeared in numerous print ads and commercials. As an actress, she has worked on several films including “Funny Valentine” & “Shattered”.
High on her list of accomplishments is winning the Miss Tennessee USA title in 2000 allowing her the opportunity to forever become apart of pageant history as the first woman from Tennessee to be crowned MISS USA. As her causes and platform, she championed for breast and ovarian cancer as well as advocated for today's youth, bringing awareness to the great need of foster care and adoption within our Nation.

Catherine Werne--Presenter
Catherine Werne is living her life “like it's on purpose”. With a BA in Liberal Arts, Catherine aspires to pursue her dreams in journalism on a national level! Her passion to drive human awareness to the forefront is evident in her public speaking and tireless energy for 5k &10k's. Fusing humor and the thought-provoking, she champions for St. Jude Cancer Research, MIFA, National Eating Disorders Association, & Young Life.
An account executive with WMC-TV, Catherine is accustomed staying motivated and juggling responsibilities.
She has appeared on the CMT Video Music Awards, CMT “Crossroads” and served as the weather anchor for the college news station at Ole Miss. Her driving spirit soars with dreams of owning her own bridal salon, winning a marathon and traveling the world bringing awareness and assistance to those who are in need!
In her spare time, she enjoys cooking reading, running, golf, wakeboarding, modeling, dance and speaking at schools, organizations and events on awareness and empowering women and young people. |

Leah Beth Bolton--Judge
Leah Beth Bolton is no stranger to the stage! With 15 years of experience already secured, it's no wonder why she has been awarded with such honors as: Best Actress 2002, Best Supporting Actress 2003, Best Supporting Actress 2005 within the Jackson Recreation and Parks Department Teen Theatre, the All Star Cast Award 2004 from the Tennessee Theatre Association, acceptance into the 2006 Governor's School of Fine Arts Theatre Department, and selected as Miss Tennessee's Outstanding Teen in 2006!
As an aspiring choreographer, performer and student, Leah delivers a strong message of balance, goals, and focus to today's youth. When asked what motto best describes her life, she replies “In Life as in Dance; Grace glides on blistered feet.” – Alice Abram
In her spare time, she enjoys working with The Carl Perkins Child Abuse Prevention Center among other charitable organizations, schools and events that focus on encouraging and empowering today's youth.
Tonight, Leah has taken a break from the stage where she is the lead in “Modern Day Millie Lewis” running all summer in Memphis, TN. |

Mary Caruthers Scales--Judge
Mary Caruthers Scales, "has been a teacher of children, of parents and of a city by serving in classrooms, on a college campus and in the halloed halls of a city council. Always looking beyond ethnicity and socioeconomic status, Mary has molded students, politicians, educators and society itself.
Mary received a BS from Tennessee State University in Mathematics, and a MA from MTSU. She completed postgraduate work at Vanderbilt Peabody. She started her classroom teaching career with the Murfreesboro City Schools and was later Associate Dean of Continuing Education at Middle Tennessee State University. She married Robert "Tee-Niny" Scales and became an active part of the family funeral business, H. Preston Scales and Sons." Her husband was the owner of H. Preston Scales and Sons, served a term as Vice Mayor and Councilman of the City of Murfreesboro. "When her husband died she was selected to fulfill his term on the City Council, and continued to lead the family buisness into its 4th generation of service to the community." Mary was selected in 2005 for Ambassador of the Year for the Better Business Bureau for her wonderful work ethics and integrity.

Greg Lyons--Judge
Greg Lyons is a freelance illustrator presently resides in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. In the past he once worked as a political cartoonist for Sidelines, which is the official Middle Tennessee State University newspaper. He then shortly thereafter became a full time illustrator for a Murfreesboro Bilingual Magazine which was called Zasshi. In English the Japanese word zasshi simply means magazine. Zasshi magazine was sold overseas in Japan and America. Under the direction of Mr. Stephen Saunders, he created Pen and Ink portraits of Dr. Henry C. Lee, old traditional Blues Artist and a Japanese violin player by the name of Tigprokoshi. On a freelance basis he also created caricatures for the Murfreesboro Little Theatre production of a “Lion in Winter”. For a period of six weeks he took a course on Art Technique and the basis of design under Mr. Bruce Higdon, a highly respected, syndicated political cartoonist and commercial illustrator. To celebrate the two hundredth birthday of America's first president, he created on request ten 60x40, black and white pen and ink portraits of George Washington which were exhibited exclusively at Murfreesboro Linebaugh Library. These portraits were later on donated to the Linebaugh Library. He's right now a full fledge member of Mel Addison's movie club and has created hand drawn background landscape pictures and brochure designs for some of their major film productions. At the moment he's working on completing then new black and white portraits of Abraham Lincoln and hopes to put them on display in the very near future along with some portraits of World Famous American Baseball players and literary figures such as Dorethy Parker. He works on a scale of 11x17, 18x24 and 60x40 in pen and ink. In regards to colored illustrations and art related visual designs, he uses a wide range of Dr. Martin Water colored inks and wax crayons. His other special interest are traveling, collecting movies, documentaries, posters, etc. and rare out of print books. |
